How Play Whe Works

Play Whe is run by the National Lotteries Control Board (NLCB) of Trinidad and Tobago. Tickets are sold at NLCB lottery centres. This site publishes results only; it does not sell tickets or take bets.

The Play Whe draw

A player picks one number from 1 to 36, or asks for a quick pick, and chooses the draw. At each draw one mark is drawn. If it is the player's number, the ticket wins. Every number is a mark with a traditional name, which is why a result is written "13 Crapaud". See the marks chart for all 36.

There are four draws a day, Sunday to Saturday: Morning (10:30 AM), Midday (1:00 PM), Afternoon (4:00 PM) and Evening (7:00 PM). Sales close five minutes before each draw. See draw times.

Mega Mixx

Mega Mixx is an optional add-on with three options. After the main draw, three separate machines are drawn, each holding white balls and one Mega ball:

A Mega Mixx option pays extra only when the player's mark has won and that machine draws its Mega ball. On this site a highlighted MU chip means that machine drew its Mega ball, and a plain one means a white ball. During some promotions a machine also holds a Bonus Ball, shown with a star.

The Play Whe Jackpot

Any ticket with a Mega Mixx option also gets five jackpot numbers: the player's own mark and four random numbers. After each draw, five jackpot numbers are drawn from 1 to 36. A ticket that matches all five, in any order, shares the jackpot, even if its mark did not play. The jackpot numbers are shown under every result here.

Prizes and promotions

Play Whe and Mega Mixx prizes are fixed amounts per dollar played, and NLCB raises them during promotions, so we do not list them here. NLCB publishes the current amounts at its lottery centres and on its own website.
